Electrical Engineer(O&M) - Dubai

Job Description:

• Perform operations and maintenance (O&M) activities for solar power plants and associated electrical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of solar installations to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, equipment failures, and system malfunctions.
• Coordinate with the O&M team to schedule and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Conduct tests, measurements, and analysis to identify performance degradation or inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans, procedures, and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and equipment specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and resolve complex technical issues.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities on solar power plants, electrical equipment, and balance-of-system components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, including issues related to inverters, transformers, switchgear, and control systems.
• Conduct tests, measurements, and analysis of electrical parameters such as voltage, current, power, and energy production.
• Evaluate and optimize the performance of solar power plants through data analysis and system monitoring.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for equipment servicing, repairs, and replacements.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and checklists to ensure effective O&M practices.
• Respond to and resolve electrical and equipment-related emergencies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate documentation of O&M activities, including maintenance logs, work orders, and reports.
• Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and technological advancements related to solar power generation and electrical systems.
